rospect Hill Cemetery & Cremation Gardens has protected and honored the graves and memories of American patriots since our founding in 1849. Our development plans for THE COURT OF VALOR serves to continue our proud tradition of commemorating those who have served our nation so well. This impressive monument – unveiled November 14, 2009 – stands 13' tall, 11' wide and uses over 18,000 pounds of granite!

At no cost, we will permanently inscribe this beautiful new monument with the names of those who were awarded valor medals by a grateful nation. This honor can be requested for veterans living or deceased and is not limited to those buried in our cemetery.

A volunteer panel of veterans has developed the criteria under which this honor will be bestowed.
